Does one hand + shield even have an advantage over two hand weapons anymore?

I don't see why the HP washing would be affected. It's just a job ID change and nothing else.

Pirates do get their DEX and STR switched if necessary, so a stat change is possible.
But I don't see any reason for HP to be touched.
