Tales of Xillia General [In Stores Now]

Finished Jude Side just now. Super armor isn't really much of a buffer because of Elize; with Wizard 2 and a cast speed amulet, she's basically got an permanent wave of lockdown even on bosses, aside from the very few that can move fast enough to get out of her massive aoes before they break superarmor.

is there any difference at all between the two sides other than some sidequests? If the storyline stays the same, I can only see two parts where you would see it from different viewpoints, the beginning and when Jude sinks into the marsh.

Oh and, is the thing where Jude puts his finger to his head and gains some sort of superperception ever covered anywhere? I assumed it would be, and I finished almost all of the subquests on this side, and it's never once mentioned, only Alvin even seemed to notice it once or twice.

I never used Elize's infinite spells on the bosses during story playthrough, but I've tried it in the arena and ex dungeon. Doesn't work very well from what I recall. Negative Gate is broken though. If I recall correctly, you can infinite with Tidal Wave too.

I played the stories pretty far apart, so I don't remember the exact details of differences, but the storyline itself is identical. The viewpoint thing isn't enormous. I wouldn't get my hopes up for that.

I believe the finger thing is just Jude trying to concentrate, and it's added flavour for his character quirks. He's rather smart, and they expand upon this in Xillia 2 where he's a high profile researcher already, despite only a year passing.
