There's a delay between Cannon Jump -> Monkey Push -> Cannon Jump. I think it's the Cannon Jump's spam delay lasting a lot longer now, stopping this from being good. Monkey Push doesn't reset it but Gigantic Backstep does. I think the only thing that combo was good for was the extra height you could gain using two Cannon Jumps so quickly after one another.

These should be faster for horizontal travel though.
