Assume PDR ignore is still additive.
Let's say you do 1,000,000 (1 Million) damage.
Chaos Vellum has 300% PDR
You have 97% PDR Ignore. That means 3% of your damage will be reduced, which is 30,000 less damage (1% = 10,000). This would mean you would do 970,000 damage to Chaos Vellum.
Now use the multiplicative standpoint from the example I linked previously.
300*0.69*0.7*0.85*0.9*0.94=104.19% PDR
This would mean Chaos Vellum's PDR drops from 300% to 104.19%. Considering PDR reduces your damage by that amount of %, you're going to go from doing 1,000,000 to doing 1, because your damage is reduced by 104.19%.
I'll ask you again. Explain to me how you go from doing 30 million damage to doing 1 damage IF PDR ignore was still additive and you have 97% PDR Ignore? Physical Resistance cuts damage by 50%, which is still 15 million damage.
- Basic math proves nothing, when what you are trying to prove is what Nexon has actually written in their code. However, showing that Nexon actually uses this math in their code is the only thing that can prove that such a formula is used.
- So basically, you are conceding the fact that none of you know why your damage has decreased. Well, concession accepted.
- Oh, and I would advise you not to attempt to fallaciously claim that if someone else cannot fathom an answer, than the answer that you can fathom must be correct. Such is yet another version of the fallacy of ignorance, and it is incredibly illogical to say the least.
