*Facepalm* Seriously, what were they looking at? The LP spells out every damned thing you mentioned so unless they somehow never looked at it to double check there's no reason to not get it right, particularly when Xenocider isn't even a real word. More importantly, getting the method of murder wrong isn't something that can be overlooked when you consider the details of the case and what happened in between.

Oh, which fansub was that? I usually go for HorribleSubs.

the text there barely shows up for a second and is all over the place and very hard to read. and look, it even says GENOCIDER SYO on the book

also, regarding the case itself and Genocider's identity (not problem with the fansub but with the anime itself)

They didn't show Fukawa waking up after fainting, and only barely showed her reaction afterwards. meaning Genocider's identity is going to come out of nowhere when they explain it.
They didn't bring any attention to the fact that Oowada was wearing clothes in the sauna, which is an important plot point.
The ElectroID's Kirigiri found, it wasn't even mentioned that one belongs to Leon (though it is kinda implied due to them belonging to the dead students)
Fujisaki barely even showed up in this episode and his motivations to be stronger weren't touched upon at all, or his declaration about revealing his secret. If they'd spent less time showing him whining and crying they could have included those little details which are important for the case.

anime is very, very rushed. should have been more episodes really.
