I did. The UI changes were featured in the new resolution before launch.

So when did they mention that we'd be getting both at once?
I remember seeing people make fan-made widescreen mode versions of the UI posted to the forums and such, but as far as I know Nexon-people have only shown screenshots of the changed UI in the resolutions that we already have.
