Also, technically, you only need 31 stamps right? In Patt's case, all he has to do is ensure he maxes the next two rings and still get the Absolute Ring. I'm thinking as long as you have a (+10, +10, +11) or a (+9, +11, +11), you still have a chance. Any more than that is great, but any less than that and you're screwed.
Gaga doesn't say anything about the rings having to be maxed to be combined. Or their number of upgrades having to match the number of stamps you have.
In fact, if they needed to be maxed, you'd have to have 33 stamps.
Why do the patch notes say 31-33, then?
Screwed-up event is screwed up.
