Life showed me that time is valuable and no amount of money could replace it.
The thing is, you'd spend a lot of your life working a job to make significantly less money than this (in most cases) and struggle to do many things you want, like say travel the world and so on.
10 years of your life is pretty steep, but I wouldn't say there is no value on it, because I'll be spending a lot of my life working various jobs, and going to college to get those jobs, just so I can live my life how I want the rest of the time. Besides, take the right things and you could master skills in this time, become a renowned chef, be extraordinarily well read, or take the industrial tools and learn to make things, its not like the time just vanishes.
