Still the same industries, essentially, just with a narrower focus. The dream job would be anything in fashion editorial or dealing specifically with pieces, so as an editorial assistant for a magazine, sample or styling assistant at a major retailer, etc. But at this point I'm happy with anything salaried in editorial, PR, fashion in general, social media, ~marketing. I'm also no longer applying to FT sales positions given InStyle's confirmation, so just PT options to find something for weekends.
Specifically resumes are going to wherever has jobs; thank god NYC is a global powerhouse, meaning there are, of course, openings all over the place all the time. I will start emailing my resume to fashion industry contacts and in blind emails down mastheads on Monday, however, just to see what happens.
Segway to OT: InStyle booked me today through the end of August, except for two weeks in July, so I'm really happy for having things a little more concrete, if only for the next two months.
My parents also arrived today for a weekend visit, and we're going into the city tomorrow for museums and great restaurants. Can't wait!
