There was a bug last patch that caused Shade Split + Shadow Partner to deal no damage at all, but it correctly displayed 3 and 6 lines when attacking. Without SP, Shade Split did 3 lines of damage though. Shade Split uses bulletCount and attackCount in its variable lists. Bullet Count has been traditionally used for hits on projectiles, i.e. Triple/Quadruple Throw. I guess it uses that now. We'll see on release if they change the readout.

Showdown Challenge has a bulletCount = 3 and attackCount = 2 but it uses attackCount for hits though...

On another note, it appears in KMST 1.2.480, Showdown Challenge didn't activate Shadow Partner.
