Edit: I'm not quoting iAmFear to question his sarcasm, I'm quoting him to provide context towards my question. I don't understand why the community would be against something that makes players stronger, or why Nexon America would intentionally leave out a huge part of the game essential to it following KMS.
No, additional options don't give bonuses all that big, (you can get 30~60 stat above average, which is pretty major, though, and a ton of attack as well, so the bonuses are pretty major, I guess). Miraculous Equip Enhancement scrolls are probably a pretty big thing in terms of damage addition, but if you look at videos around the time Unlimited was released, they were already doing like more than 1m, before they had time to flame their stuff, and Miraculous Equip Enhancements weren't even released yet. I would think those people were always that strong, it's just that the damage cap was severely limiting for them.
People are mostly against Additional Options, I guess, I don't want to pigeonhole people, but because if you want to add it to your old stuff, you'd have to flame it, and when you flame an item, it incurs a trade limit, after which an item becomes permanently untradeable. The limit is also imposed on all equips over and including 140.
