I'm not blaming Girasol. I'm blaming the entire company for how that was handled. Girasol isn't the only one in the company. However, I DID mention Girasol because s/he has a position with them, and thus can talk to people about how that was handled.

Don't be that guy.

I'm sorry to be that guy. I'm sorry to be the one to point out that this is going to make a lot of newer players, or old players who were content with the EXP gains, want to quit. I'm sorry to notice that there is an extreme lack of EXP gain in trying to get to 160.

But seriously, they need to know what these new change cause, because if they DON'T, they can't and won't change anything.

(I hope that 11pm is 11pm PST, because if it's EST, and I lost the last Scar run EVER...)

Let me tell you newbies about the good old days.

The year was 2010. Dual Blades were released. Large scale event exploit. People being banned left and right because Nexon didn't know that they had to increase the speed cap to allow for dual blades to use their skills without being banned for speed hacking. The economy? Destroyed due to the exploit and the bannings of several prominent merchants. The only recourse was a rollback. However, Nexon tried to remedy this situation too late; a week had gone by and nothing was done. That Friday (I'll never forget it) we were alerted that they were going to attempt a ONE-WEEK ROLLBACK.

In two hours, the rollback was done, and in three, we were back in the game, everything fixed.

Those were the golden days; no potential, Nexon still having new game naivete, and rollbacks. Rollbacks everywhere. We used to have a saying: Coffee was spilled at Nexon HQ? ROLLBACK EVERYTHING!

They're not that funny anymore...

Let me be the first to say, Nexon, if your rollbacking skills are so rusty that this isn't done in the amount of time that you're rollbacking (which, for those who cannot count, is 13 hours), I will be dissapointed in you.

My post on the Nexon forums. Surely, I remember the days of old when we trained at such places. However, what happened back then? They had a very high rate of people stopping after 10 minutes due to how difficult it was to level. The problem here is not getting to 200. The problem is that they've made getting to 160 so much harder than it should be. The training curve is backwards; the hell levels are early, and the easy levels are 160+.
