Yes it is. It's a big change. Their creation has been completely changed due to them being integrated with the rest of the explorers, and they even share the explorer cash inventory. They didn't need a gameplay revamp like the others did. What kind of "special" revamp were you expecting?

I don't know about you, but when I think of the word 'revamp', I don't think of just being mixed in with the other adventurers. That's rather lazy, actually (not to mention... other pirates acquired Cannonneer's beginner skills... so when you think about it, it seems Cannonneers are less special in comparison, if anything). No... when I hear 'revamp'... I think of skill and game play mechanic reorganizations. When you look at the grand nature of this update... it seems rather silly to mix them up with the other and simply say 'done!' Redoing their artwork for simply that? I doubt it... Not to mention, the gap in between today and RED's launch (July 3rd). That leaves another week yet for another possible patch.


And was it confirmed that they share the same cash inventory? You'll have to forgive my ignorance, but didn't see any video confirmation of it yet. Never mind, just read it. Derp.
