I KNEW someone was going to say this. KNEW IT. You all have become so predictable that it's sad. Pets are NOT "CS hacks." Goodness that is the most stupid argument I've heard, and it's been passed around many a time by people who love nothing but whining.

The things pets do differ greatly from hacks. Auto-potting can still easily get you killed, it requires pots and planning and does nothing more than pot for you - godmoding frickin' protects you from all damage and makes pots and planning obsolete. Pets having the looting ability is no different than you looting, it's just simply having your pet do it for you - vaccing sucks every frickin' item on the map directly TO YOU. Don't compare helpful (but definitely not necessary) features created for this game to the pathetic little hacks of lazy fags.

The key thing in all of this is that Nexon created the things for the CS and intends for them to be used in their game. Hacks are made by people who'd rather cheat and ruin things for others. Stop trying to compare hacks to ANYTHING in the Cash Shop. That's just retarded. If Nexon wants to go and add an item that gives you godmode, then that's their decision. Would it be a terrible one? Yes. Have they made terrible decisions before? Yes. Not everything is going to go exactly as everyone wants. If you can't tolerate a decision they've made, either quit or find ways to enjoy the game despite it. It's that simple.

Oh, and that "EXP Gach" was a gosh dang frickin' joke. Stop even bringing that crap up. It was a HORRIBLE way to level and costed a CRAPTON to get any significant amount of exp. Now if each coupon gave an instant level, then that'd be pretty screwed up. But guess what? It didn't, and nothing like that is ever going to happen.

And to anyone that thinks they need to get these rings to get the ULTIMATE STAT RANGE in order to compete with everyone, I have nothing to say to you other than tone it the frick down. The reason this idiocy is even occurring is because of how seriously people take this game now. If you wanna increase your stats, get the ring. Be the ultimate stat whore. If you don't want to, then be happy with the things you do have. It's unbelievable how people make it their main focus to be better than others. Stop it, and just the enjoy the game...

MAIN POINT:

CS benefits are there to make things easier for the player, if they so choose. That's the whole POINT of the Cash Shop. Not a SINGLE thing in the CS is necessary to play and enjoy this game. If you believe otherwise, you shouldn't still be playing MS. If you can't still find enjoyment in this game surrounded by NX users, then MS isn't the game for you - especially if you're too stupid/lazy to figure out how to use the MTS, if NX really matters to you.

The CS hasn't ruined this game. Heck, not even the terrible community has ruined this game. It's still great and easy to find enjoyment in. If you disagree with that, WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?

What I meant in my rant was that a lot of the more "useful" items in the CS were inspired by early hacks, either in an attempt to curb hacking, or to prevent hackers from having a huge edge over normal players, NOT that those items were themselves hacks. Basically, that they give similar advantages to what those hacks did. Auto-pot worked in exactly the same way - automatically use X potion when HP is below Z. If you didn't have pots, it wouldn't work. Seeing as there is no MP Godmode, to my knowledge anyway, auto-pot for mana is still necessary for hackers.

For vac being compared to pet loots, I meant in that players can loot items a considerable distance from their character. For lower HP, ranged characters, this can be the difference between profiting at a training spot or dying attempting to loot that multi-million meso item. Item vacs work on the same basic principle - they save time and nab items out of reach of the player.

Finally, people can disagree with a decision without thinking that it ruins everything else for them - I despise 2x experience, but instead of quitting or letting it ruin the game for me, I simply ignore rankings (esp when I realized that there are still PG hackers on them) and train at my own pace. I HATE , absolutely HATE that Nexon decided to put CWK weapons into Gachapon - essentially a slap in my face for the 2 months I put into making my Arcglaive. Did I quit? No, I just, after some initial bitching on my part, toughed it up and moved on. I'll do the same with this, provided that Nexon doesn't take this as a foot in the door to really mess up the balance of the game.
