Not 100 percent sure if this will happen but

Botters would have no leverage then. A tiny tweak to the nebulite system like that, I think, would prevent botters from using nebulites to have adverse affects on the game's economy; more so than changing the nebulite system inside and out like you're proposing.

Eh true, there's a lot Nexon could have done better on but what's done is done. The best you can do is try to improve upon it. Sad

An actual good affect of the current nebulite system on the economy is that B or A rank nebs can be used within collateral trades including items worth more than maximum mesos. I've done this myself a few times and it has worked wonders in scam prevention and alleviated the hassles of large trades. In GAZED at least, I think crappy A rank nebs usually go for 1 bil mesos. It's value stability is great for inclusion within trades.

Very true. As this system doesn't alter the chances of getting A/B nebulites (except for now a chance at bosses), the price shouldn't fluctuate too dramatically.

I can also actually argue that if this system makes nebs (or fragments) droppable they'll still be abused by botters; maybe even more so than nebulite boxes dropping now are abused by botters.

I've seen some "botter shops" have an average of twenty to thirty nebulite boxes a day, so I'm hoping this will be better.

I guess so. But with the way the present neb system has been spoonfed to the players, leveling a nebulite like a timeless equip seems a bit tedious by comparison.

It will be made kind of like how normal leveling is, the first couple levels are generally easier, although as you approach higher levels it'll take much longer to level a nebulite up. I'm not sure on estimated time, but leveling an A nebulite to S will have to be tedious.

But if fragments drop at the same rate as anniversary boxes do, botters will have even more of a field day with this proposed neb system than with how it is now; thereby the monopoly you speak of can only get worse. No?

Same as above, nebulite boxes currently allow for as many stacks as a botter can hold meaning if they find more then two, they're already causing more harm. This system basically effectively keeps a healthy limit of two nebulites per character, so even if someone has several accounts botting, they're only going to 2 nebulites x accounts, instead of worse.. 2+ nebulites x accounts.

Fair game. But let's just be sure this system makes things better for the casual-to-supercommitted (non-cheating) players instead of worse before skipping to conclusions.

If this gets remotely close to being added, I'm sure the Maple Team will work that out.

*shrugs shoulders* Ok I guess.

At least that way it's not really too much of an advantage, only heavy-fusing players will buy them.

Edit: was ninja'd on a few points I was trying to make haha.
