The one thing nobody seems to be considering in this whole Cap discussion (or whine session, really) is that perhaps Nexon did this because they feel the 50M cap was big mistake. Firstly, just because KMS gets something, it doesn't mean everybody else has to get it. KMS is the breaking ground for Maple innovations. When things don't work out quite the way they hoped, they get changed before hitting other versions. Don't get me wrong, here; I dislike the aggregate damage cap, particularly since I am a mage player with all Ele Staves. If indeed they regret the 50M general damage cap and they felt that raising the general cap in itself was a bad idea, then they should probably do it a little differently. If a compromise were to be made, I would say 10M damage cap for any weapon 120+. Of course, we only know what CMS got and cannot be certain we are getting the very same thing. We just have to wait and see.
However, this issue, just like the UI, is past the point of debate and change. The programming is done. We are long past the point in the development cycle where change can be affected before we get it. Your only hope for change (particularly int he case of the UI) is for a time frame a few months from now. This just isn't important enough to break their plans. If they decide to listen to you folks, the change will come later and by then you may not care as much (or you mare care even MORE since you will have had the new UI for a while).
EDIT: I just want to add that I am really liking some of the UI designs you guys have made. If only these could have gotten in their hands back when it would have mattered...
