A sub-$500 computer is not a luxury good. Assuming that he would be able to afford a budget computer is neither obnoxious nor far-fetched. I made a sound assumption, and I was wrong. There is nothing more and nothing less to it. I don't see why some people here like to blow things out of proportion.
Off-topic: Generalisation/tree-in-a-forest data spread. Generalisation/irrelevance. Conditional assumption.
Google's statistics apply to everyone. Statistics explain everything. Mhm.
I'm going to end off here with these links:

You are both right and wrong, but your presentation leaves... much distaste. At the end, it's all about choices and perspectives.
On-topic: I would rather they make minimal tweaks to the game UI instead of a massive overhaul. IIRC Big Bang UI change was not exactly massive either, and I found the BB patch very welcoming in terms of UI. This feels like they're smashing something up and rebuilding it from its pieces again on a larger frame, throwing in/out some parts... that's probably why Waltzing's attempts are fairly welcome - because it's basically refining and polishing what's already good. Ain't no fixin' if nothin' broken.
I'm in favour of longer HP/MP bars. Take it as a more sensitive gauge, because I ain't going to stare at the last digit all the time.
I really look forward to what they'll unveil for the EQ UI. Skill UI... Won't die I guess... The multi-point addition option makes up more than everything else. I just wonder if there's a real need to categorize skills into offensive, passive/enhancement and buffs/supportive, not when so many skills now have multiple effects. I... don't know why they had to make the item UI a 4x8 instead of keeping it an 8x4... it's almost assuming that you're going to play on the larger resolution; same goes for the skill UI.
