Now if he can actually get them to change it to this, I would be a happy camper.

I don't mind this one! Although the EXP bar looks a little weird. Maybe move the HP and MP bars to the same line, and then make the EXP bar big enough to hold its own values...
But then that would make it EXACTLY LIKE THE CURRENT UI
