Not sure why they'd bother with 800*600 (or 1024*768) in this day and age when even your most basic entry-level monitor or laptop screen is running in 1366*768; you'd have to try pretty damned hard to get something in 4:3 and/or sub-720p. Do that many people seriously play on hardware from 5+ years ago?
As for the UI itself, I think the text on HP/MP bars could be a little larger. The font (size) seems out of place with the thickness of the bars.
