I'm going to list some suggestions, some of my own and some of what others have already mentioned about this update.
1. Do not implement the damage cap based on your weapon; this system isn't liable, older weapons will become completely useless and players will only be mad as a result, also certain bosses would still be near impossible to take down.
Implement the shared 50m damage cap KMS has, that way everyone benefits. If you don't, you may find players leaving the game and never coming back.
2. Regarding the new UI, some changes are nice but there is a ton of "empty space"; I would suggest condensing this space so the UI will be smaller and take up less space.
As suggested before, please consider making an option to switch between the old UI and the new UI, that would make a lot of people happy.
3. While Level 3 Link Skills are a nice optional benefit, the thing is not many people would be able to take advantage of this in the slightest.
If you want to make them a viable option, you'd want to lower the level 3 requirement to 180, seeing as the gap currently goes from 70 to 120 (50 levels difference) then jumps to 90 levels difference; wouldn't it make sense to mark the level requirement accordingly compared to the job advancements? For example, 10 to 30 (20 levels difference), 30 to 60 (30 levels difference), 60 to 100 (40 levels difference); following this pattern would mean about +10 levels more difference per increase, meaning the +50 levels plus the +10 level difference would push it to about 180. Also following this pattern, the prediction could be that 5th job (whenever it finally arrives in KMS) would be about 150.
4. Oh, one more thing; would it hurt to have an option to set the transparency of damage numbers by chance? I know many people, including myself, would be thrilled with this change. Also, an option to change whether you want to see the skills of players or not would be nice too.
EDIT: Oh, how could I have forgotten this?
5. Could there possibly be a toggle option to switch voiceovers on and off? I know some people like the in game sounds but aren't a huge fan of the voiceovers.
6. When you raise the level cap to 250, PLEASE remove the AP cap; currently the max AP cap is set to 999 in a singular stat, if the AP cap was removed it'd not only provide more incentive to level, but it'd be fair to everyone else.
With the AP cap still implemented, hybrid classes like Xenon have a HUGE advantage compared to others seeing as they aren't hindered by the AP cap.
It'd be great as well if the total AP reset scrolls would also reset the points invested in HP/MP as well, but it's certainly not as required as much as the main points above are.
