I am confused why you guys are upset about the Level 3 link skills? It's not like we're nerfing the current Level 2 link skills. You don't HAVE to level up your link skill alts if you don't want to.

Because it's completely unnecessary. There are like, what? 14 link skills in Maple at the moment? There's a limit of 12 and level 3's are at 210. Assuming anyone even has the time or energy to bother with level 3's, there's a good chance a helluva lot of work would be wasted if a new job is released with a better link skill. To go further, assuming anyone WOULD want to attempt this, they most likely won't even need the boost since the damage cap is 10m. They'll probably hit the cap anyway if they can get so many classes to 210.

As for why the damage cap is stupid, it sets a bad precedent. People will consistently have to spend countless dollars perfecting the latest weapon released from KMS to reach the inevitably higher damage cap it'll come with. This is made worse since it appears even hyper skills get reduced to hitting 1mil max with ordinary weapons, which basically means anyone that ISN'T using these weapons is actually getting nerfed!
Hell, if anything this new damage cap is an even bigger money grab than Additional Options were, with their idiotic scissor count.
The 50mil one may have blurred the line between the rich and the poor by a massive margin but it was a lot more fair across the board.
