It's midnight here now, so I'll just go to sleep and hope by the time I wake up Nexon will have fixed this.
Besides the hassle, this forced reset means anyone without access to their registered e-mail is screwed. (Unless... did I read that email can now be changed without verifying with the old one?)

Nope. Tried accounts that were logged in today and yesterday, PIC invalid.
