A lot of other free MMORPGs that I've played have items like this.

The Cash Shop affected gameplay as soon as pets came out, since they loot for you.

-Sigh-. Don't like it? Don't buy it. No-one's forcing anyone to buy these.

If you don't like the idea of people with money gaining even more of an advantage over non-cash users, don't play.
