They've been doing this since before March when I first saw them so if this were to create an "economic meltdown" it would've happened by now. When Maker Skill comes out, all ore and plate prices are gonna rise, the only difference is all the people that have been farming ores for months with hacks are gonna be richer than you. (More than they already are now) We'll see when it comes...
Like I said, it's a lot more efficient (I'd say 5 times more) than that, and there's already bots etc for it.
I'd imagine it would take about 3 minutes to fill your entire ETC with ores.
