a single impale is much stronger than it though, not to mention even against bosses like vellum, you get to know after a while their delay in popping up, i can hit vellum while he's jumpingOHKO with dark synthesis/impale already. and since it has such a massive starting delay...

can you even jump with it?

The finishing hit isn't so weak is it? If you just time that hit to come out after the mob does you might save time.

I missed the most obvious example: dojo. Kind of hard for a drk to rank high on that compared to other classes right?
