This happened yeah, but sooner or later you knew all maps, and became a "veteran". Then when you were a "high level" (100+), there are some days when you'd be bored, an decided to help newbs at HHG or random maps to do their quests, or whatever, just to re-live the adventure.

Now level 100 takes less than a day, yeah.

That's why NLC was so special, because nobody knew the maps. People were still discovering stuff weeks later. The double-edged sword of having extractions these days; it sucks knowing what you're getting if it's better as a surprise.
