Edit: How does friend requesting work? Do both parties have to accept until you can see each other? :f6:

When you add someone, it lets you see if they're online, and sends a message to their newsfeed. It doesn't do the 'friend request' thing like Maple; that's all you have to do. If they add you back, they can just see you in turn.

For those unaware, you can see the newsfeed by clicking on your Maple House and it's the tickmark on the right in the bottom area (or 'see all' also works), it takes a little bit to load them.
