They should have added brawlers to warriors and gunslingers to bowmen, but instead went and made "pirates" that have nothing in common with each other, they don't even all use the same base stat.
If they had gone and expanded "bowmen" to include all types of shooters, whether they shoot arrows, bolts, or bullets (or stars?), we'd have more of them now than warriors (and people would be complaining that melee classes are really limited in variety).
Oh well.
