You can farm life-giving-essences on multiple characters, but that requires you to replant seeds every 30 minutes which is annoying if you are doing other activities in game.

I pull in 40-80 LGE a week on my main by just going to the farm whenever some time has passed. Generally after dailys, or nests disband, etc.

As for money making, this is what I do or have done

Merchanting: Market is slow atm but will pick up with kali (speculated this week/tomorrow) and 60 cap (june/july speculated)

Chaos rifts: Level 24 version yields about 200-225g. Level 32 version yields about 250-300g. Level 50 version yields about 400-700g

Farm: LGE is every 30 minutes and sell for 12-15g (can be higher, depends on content e.g. when people start beating GDN HC very often, expect price to rise). Apple of life is every 5 days (When we can use apples in GDN HC, expect price to rise). More alts = more money

Dailys: Get stuff to npc, sell, hold onto. You also get mercies which you can turn in for whatever the highest profitable item is (most likely quality L-grade sparks when GDN hc gets beaten more often

Power level people: Either for drops or drop + a fee

Ladder: Do 10 games every week for a chance at a good plate. More alts = more chances

Also when kali gets released, you can get lucky and try to get a skill plate for her. Any good skill plate for her will probably cost anywhere from 1-7k depending
