FBI surrounds house of Saudi student after sightings of him with pressure cooker pot

In effect, you build the powder keg to the point where one simply needs to drop a match for the whole thing to explode.

And Dustin, I'm just going to point out instances of your flawed logic:

You're exaggerating so goddamn hard over a civil right that isn't being infringed that you've completely blinded yourself of all common sense. We just had two muslim's blow up a public event with that very item. You have a dumb ass, walking down the street, with the same goddamn general profile of a muslim with a pressurized cooker, alone, down the street. To god knows where. Guess what, if it happened to be a bomb, and an entire hospital goes pop, you can sit here and feel justified, because you gave him the benefit of the doubt. Maplestory is a great example of this, which I have seen you stereotype specific sub genre's to avoid being, scammed, hacked, ks'd, etc. All hackers are bad, all hackers just want to be brat's, everyone on maplestory is moronic, whatever.

FrozNlite Wrote:That's the exact same logic in saying "girls shouldn't wear salacious clothing and get really drunk because they're asking to get raped." No, they're not. Rapists simply shouldn't rape.

Going around with a pressurized cooker is asking for looks, not asking to be arrested. He wasn't even arrested, he questioned about it because guess what, it was just weaponized a month ago. If you want to cry racist and feel the kid is a victim, that's fine, but I think he's stupid.

FrozNlite Wrote:Except sixteen mass shootings occurred in the U.S. last year, many through the use of a semi-automatic weapon, and those still aren't banned from the general public.

Do I really have to point out the obvious to you, or was there a recent amendment about pressurized cooking pots being a god given right? Maybe we should look at, I don't know, what's really heavily regulated and was used as a terrorist act a decade+ ago....HM. I DONT KNOW THE pineappleING AIRPORT THAT FORBIDS TOOTHPASTE. Same concept, and is necessary so we don't have a frekin repeat. We learn from history, we don't ignore things to make sure no one is offended.

FrozNlite Wrote:Your first sentence is a hasty generalization.

It was sarcasm of generalizations since you think I think all arab's middle easterns are terrorists.

FrozNlite Wrote:The rest of your paragraph is an irrelevant conclusion, illogically arguing that just because something happened to you and you didn't react, others shouldn't either in a perceived similar situation. The cause for alarm, however, isn't related to how you chose to act (because, after all, Oukaz here basically reacted the same way, albeit a little shaken): it's how the situation arose in the first place (in both cases) that's inappropriate.

...Generalizing saves peoples lives, they are strangers, they are unknown, they are out of my monkeysphere. A month ago you had a college student, who was representing the united states in some sporting event then this happens. You have a lone teenagers walking down the street with a recently used weapon, then I'm going to flag it as I'm hoping the incident didn't inspire this lad to go for attention.

FrozNlite Wrote:Seriously Dustin, your argument has more holes than swiss cheese.

That's because you've already decided me a racist even though that can't be father from the truth. [b]All]/b] stereotypes have truth to them.
