top: You go to the top lane alone, and just fend for yourself for a bit. Then you go around and do normal game stuff. Generally, the tank/split pusher goes to this lane.
mid: You go to the middle lane, where you have access to the most resources (shorter lane = more creeps). Your lane is essential to map control, and you go around helping other lanes since you're right between the two.
ADC: You go to the bottom lane. You are the glass cannon, so your role is to do the most damage in fights.
Support: You hold the hand of the ADC. You protect him, and you help him get kills. You do not take creeps, and it is your job to control the map using wards. You get no resources, and live off of assist gold and leeching EXP.
Jungle: The jungle is pretty much the stuff surrounded by the lanes and the river, and your resources come from here. Your job is to roam around and help all 3 lanes while getting gold/experience from killing stuff in the jungle.
For streams, generally people who have TSM/Team SoloMid or Crs/Curse are good streamers to watch.
