Doctor Who - Series 8

A rather forgettable episode really.

 Spoiler

The Doctor talking to the other Doctor was kinda dumb. Would have been better if they had just kept on communicating inside his mind, rather than him physically turning around to show either side of his face. Ruined the scene for me somewhat.

The kids didn't really do much, but every single bit of screentime the girl got was annoying.

Didn't make sense why the Cybermen were all like super matrix fast at the start, and then at the end were storming the castle via slow march. And the Cyber Dude inside the Doctors Head conveniently shut down all the cybermen at once because it needs 3 million cyber brains to contemplate it's next move, are you kidding? what a cheap way to end the danger.

So yeah, wasn't a big fan of this one. It had it's moments, but seriously.

The trailers for the next episode have COMPLETELY spoiled Clara's identity for me. It's still a really cool twist, but I was surprised they built it up this much just to spoil it in the trailer.

 Who is Clara? SPOILERS

Clara is THE companion. As the Doctor said in the prequel, she's perfect, everything he could want in a companion. And that's because she is his companion and always has been. Clara enters the Doctor's timeline to save from him danger, and in the process replaces all his past companions. as seen in the trailer where she is wearing the clothes of the doctors past companions.
