though IP banning may not stop all the hackers since it's easy to change your IP, it should stop the most "script kiddies" and make it so that, to hack, you need more knowlegde. That way the overall number of hackers should go down.
But i guess nexon would do something stupid, like banning anyone that goes at speeds faster than X (and thus ban super KBed people), or anyone gaining too much exp in little time (like what happened with BF).
