I was always under the impression that unless you had >50 MS ping Adv. Dark Sight was detrimental.

No idea, I remember back before Big Bang there was a lot of talk about whether or not Adv. Dark Sight was worth putting points into because of the lag but I don't think it's too bad.. 20% damage is pretty decent and I haven't noticed any delay when using it (or when it triggers), and I'm from Europe so the connection isn't great anyway. I don't know how the numbers go though.
But as far as %/s go that shouldn't make a difference, since it's supposed to be optimal.
