So all of you doom-and-gloom, OMG-THE-ECONOMY-is-destroyed-if-they-dont-do-a-rollback guys, exactly what horrors do you expect to see tomorrow in the FM if they don't do a rollback?
Hyperinflation perhaps? Recall that only a tiny fraction a players are hackers with excess mesos. I am certainly not going to double prices in my shop just for the faint hope that that someone from the 0.1% of players with hacked mesos will want my stuff.
Or maybe the oppposite, valuable stuff deflating? Unless you happen to have whatever the hackers are duping and were intending to sell it, there is no loss for you.
I went through a couple FMs shortly before they took the game down, and other than a lot of emptied shops (I mean cleared out by owners, not sold out) I saw nothing strange.
I think Nexon is doing the right thing if they can avoid a rollback. I, and probably the vast majority of other players, would rather not have everything in the past week undone just so the 1% of highrollers don't lose a bit of their 10B/day profit (and that is assuming Nexon is incapable of removing most of the hacked goods)
