And it makes me feel guilty. Finally 18. As soon as I finish college my parents won't get any money for raising me. We're already struggling for money after all the government cuts to benefits, and neither of my parents are fit for work. I also heard that if I fail in my exams then my parents will be forced to pay £11,000 to the government. There's no way we can afford that. I begged my parents to take back the money they got me as a gift because they needed it more than I did but they refused. I hope I don't fail. I hope I can find a job to help support my family. I can't go into university for an entire year because I missed the cut-off, so if I can't find a job then I'll be literally worthless for an entire year.

Anyway... I am sorry to hear about your situation... I've been there, and it isn't nice. I've dropped out of college too. Good thing my mother is good at bitching people out, or I'd be stuck with nothing but $3k debt.
