What's the big difference between a long nintendo direct and an e3 presentation?
I can't think of a good one really. The only bad point is that, maybe, the directs will get a audience of more nintendo core fans than a generic e3 performance would.
And besides, you can apply that logic to everyone. Woo, sony hasn't blown their load on the ps4 games that are coming or had any major presentation since the announcement 2 months ago, they must be in trouble! And we know sweet pineapple all about the xbox720 (That is good news anyway, we've gotten plenty of bad). Nintendo is obviously saving the Wii U stuff for a Nintendo direct closer to e3
