Long story short, the Air Force basically strung us along with false promises until he was too old to enlist. He was very upset, but I'd be lying if I said I was anything but relieved.
He got a job working with my company and moved to San Francisco with me. We've been waiting for the right time and now that we're both making a lot more money and have stable jobs it feels right.
