I personally find MMOs extremely dull right now. They're all super grindy or otherwise uninteresting rehashes of previous games, and there's so many new games coming out all the time that I don't need a long-term game to play. I'll definitely vouch for GW2 being worth a try, though. The combat is pretty good (for an MMO) and there is quite a lot of diverse content to explore. I still play it with friends but I'm about 400 hours in and I don't feel like grinding for any of the personal goals anymore.
