Nostalgia of Pre-BigBang Maplestory

If you remember Tiger before FangBlade, if you remember things like "dexless sins", grinding for days for one level at Windraiders, and getting leech from a Bishop at harps, you are part of a dying breed. A breed of Mapler who remembers the incredible communities, the dedication, the resourcefulness of the old Maplestory.

Also, I remember fondly of the "hacker era". You know... all of those wraithes being vac hacked in every ing channel.

I remember when vaccers were actually scared of getting banned so they vacced outside of the bounds of the map, so you couldn't see them at all, just mobs warping up into nothingness. I remember seeing that a lot in the Subway maps.

This thread really went downhill, this wasn't supposed to be a debate about whether Maplestory has changed for the better or not. That's a whole other thread. I just wanted to have everyone share their memories of pre-BB Maplestory.
Come on now guys, less angry debate, more teary-eyed nostalgia!

That's quite impossible because of how angry you get when you consider how Nexon has changed the game from fun into a money pit that we carelessly throw our money into. Even pushing the "Pre-BB was better" bullshit aside, you still have how the marketing changed in such a massive way that even thinking about it makes my eyes cringe.
