I ought to say that I find a difference between aesthetically overused and 'game mechanics' overused. what i mean is that I consider it terrible to give every job an AoE skill, FJ, Final att, a lazor and what not as it happens currently, while I don't see much issue on giving a few jobs wings as long as they don't look the same.

That's not a lazor, that's a huricane-like skill, though that one has its own category of overused aswell.
