You can make your own party play zone in there as an alternative, but LHC/HoH is still a bit better for faster EXP.
If you unlock all the cores including the slot in the center, it's still pretty nice for a private solo/party training/hunting.
400% HP mobs + Party EXP + 30% spawn rate + 50% additional spawn rate (being the unique core) + 3x filler/drop/etc cores
I actually tried soloing in there with that setup minus the party exp core on my Lv184 shadower in the link 3 map. I got about 20K exp a kill, but there's a lot of spawn flying all into one spot. I got about ~12-15% Exp in 30 minutes while in there during the 2x event, so it's not that bad for solo exp imo.
