Zerker in DPS is about tied with Slayer, honestly, though that's only if the Slayer is alive; zerk is much easier to stay alive on, MUCH easier, so their DPS can be higher simply because they aren't dead. Currently I tie them at #2. Sorc is #1 DPS regardless, archer will be #2 after the revamp.
(by the way, people don't take zerkers because lancers are assholes and want all the plate drops)
No, I definitely care more about optimizing my class/race combination more than I care about a race's aesthetics (which I think would be obvious because Castanic's horns are seriously awful). I really just want some sound information from a lategame perspective. It also really sounds like there's no real reason for me to play a Slayer since a Berserker sounds more like my style anyway, but I opted to play one because one of my friends was already playing a Berserker and I was told that Slayers were far and away the best option.
Based on the somewhat limited information I've gathered, it sounds like I should be playing a sorcerer and a lancer since I really don't want to play more than 2 different characters and I've got more interest in damage dealing/tanking than I do in healing. Assuming I go with that, which races should I pick for those two? Elin for both?
Also, is there any reason for me to pick something other than those two?
