Probably Dragon Nest too. Daily strolls around town suggests literally half the DN population spends money on the game, if the costumes are anything to go by.
Last year, Dragon Nest seemed like it was on the verge of closing (our CM left from out of nowhere, very slow content release speed leading to the population dying over the Spring and Summer, event item distribution taking 2-3 months, a terrible event decision that gave returning players that hadn't played for four months the strongest weapons in the game at the time, the two west and east servers being merged, later all merged into a single server). But then all of a sudden, over the Summer and Fall, we got local developers and multiple CMs that have become increasingly open with the community, one even personally resolving tickets (his posts don't even show up on the Nexon Tracker because he already makes like a dozen posts per day). As of last week, Dragon Nest supposedly doesn't have a ticket backlog anymore, all tickets get resolved the day they're made.
It's a super far cry compared to a full year ago, of which the population then was easily 1/3rd of now. It's freaking bizarre.
Now most of us are looking at this and wondering, what convinced Nexon to pour pretty much most visible staff resources into Dragon Nest and give us a second chance (especially considering that Nexon is merely hosting it here, development is handled by a completely different company known as Eyedentity), instead of giving up like they just did with DFO?
