v.132 - Hyper Evolution Update Highlights
iAmFear Wrote:No, they don't use inventory space, but yeah, they only affect one instance. There are certain cores that can permanently change the world, but in minor ways, pretty much just expansion. You start out with 5 maps, but you can increase that up to 9 by doing certain missions.

The cores are in their own separate inventory type thing that show up when you choose to enter the evolving world, the circular holes are for drops, monster stats, and missions, while the square holes are for environmental changes, like background, music, monster skins.

As you can see here, I've unlocked map 6 through a mission. Each map has a special quest that you can do to get Evo Coins, but they also drop from monsters. The best map for drops is probably Map 3, I believe it is, where, every so often, a machine in the map will vac all the monsters to the center for a few spawn cycles until it breaks, and the monsters scatter until it turns on again.

The ESS Square is potentially better than the +5 PvP Pocket, but I don't know the exact range. It can go up to 5 atk, and have more than 5 to a stat, even without additional options, but here's a picture of one after the additional option system, as you can see, it also has +2% All Stats, which gives it an edge over the PVP pocket item. (I mean this particular one, not that they all have +2% All Stats).
