Pony General:"Season 12 will never air" edition.

So, you guys told me to give Double Rainboom a try ages ago...
Well I did...
This was the end result...
...It got leaked this afternoon and everyone took advantage of it.
After this line, I lost my sanity at the sheer disappointment of how bad this was.

Honestly, I'm not sure what I just watched...even after the second time around. To put the episode simply, put it this way.
Imagine like those Fast Food Commercials on TV. They make the food look so good. Only in reality it looks and tastes subpar to what the commercial described. Double Rainboom was a Expectation vs. Reality thing, in a nut.

The Writing:Just...What? They disregarded every single character's traits and it's like the writers made their own traits for them. The plot was very fast paced and the was no buildup to the main antagonist for the episode. Like, wtp. Also pretty much the episode was more of a homage to show how "awesome" RD is. And it doesn't make sense. Rainbow Dash is loyal and on a latter side, prideful...but not like this...like, god. I thought they were going for a "authentic" feel. They need to go back to the drawing board. Bottom-line, they made Dash look like a twit.

The Animation:Okay, um...those test animations were passable since it was (at the time) a wip. But is this it? The finished product? Looking ALMOST THE SAME THING FROM THEIR WIP?
...Okay then. Certain gestures and facial expressions don't match up with the dialogue. It's discouraging...and on my terms, cringing.

The Moral:There is none. Unless you count Rainbow Dash being awesome, then yes.

The Humor: Continuous jokes made by the fandom. It's not really special. It was meme-heavy in the bad way. Not even the show is meme-heavy. (Then again, the episodes are made in advance, but they don't do memes, but subtle nods to their fandom.)

I swore that this project wasn't gonna have a great impression on people, and honestly, 4chan agrees with me. If they were trying to go for a "authentic" fan-made animation, they've did it...animation-wise, but everything else...is just...what...the...hell.

Animation:7/10 (Spot on with minor details and barely any improvement.)
Writing:4/10 (They virtually need to relook over the story as a whole again, and fix things, it's that bad.)
Moral:0/10 (I have no idea. I'd give it a 0, but I think there is one. I'll watch it again when it's officially out) I take it back.
Humor:6/10 (Decent.)

Overall:C+ For trying. C- The Animation is the only thing sparing you from a D.

In a nutshell, they want someone to remake the animation, redo the script and make it feel more from a child's view than a brony's view.
