More or less correct.
Basically, if the Paladin/Buccaneer card was supposed to add 400 damage you only see that at the end of your actual damage although it is reflected in your range.
So if you dealt 200k in one line of blast it'd become 200,400 damage; it is not calculated within the damage formula itself.
