I think a 3DS i worth it (more than the Wii U, and yes, i have both 
). There are many great games out for it, especially 1st party games from Nintendo. There are only two things i dislike about the 3DS: Only one analog stick (a seconds needs batteries and costs $30?), and no flipnote. I loved flipnote on my DSi
