My personal opinions on the chosen answers are in italics.
What is the class of your main character?
Adventurer, Archer branch.
Q1. Do you think the balance between classes in MapleStory is appropriate?
No, it is absolutely not.
Comment: There are far too many classes to keep track of, and they all make the Adventurer classes almost completely useless. It's quite a wonder I'm still attached to my Bowmaster and am unwilling to change mains, but to be outclassed by practically everything else is very discouraging to me.
Q2. For which level range should level up content be added?
Lv. 171~180
Comment: I actually feel levels 130 and above need more content, but as we can only choose one option...
Q3. I am satisfied with the current buying and selling system for items.
I'm not.
Comment: The current trading system isn't -horrible- by any means, but it could definitely be improved. An auction house-like system would definitely be more beneficial. In Dungeon Fighter Online, for instance, you can put five items up in the Auction House at most, and you can not put (tradeable) Cash Shop items in there. That's for free users. If you want to put up more than 5 items, as well as tradeable Cash Shop items, you'd have to buy a 30-day Auction License in the Cash Shop. You're also not required to be online while the items are up. This system, in my opinion, is a perfect trade system. That, along with the current Free Market permits for users who wish to include/leave messages, would be a great combination for the trading system, in my opinion.
Q4. I am satisfied with the current item enchantment system (scrolls, potential, enhancement).
No, I am absolutely not.
Comment: Scrolls are fine. Enhancement is fine. Potential... heck, I was okay with it when it first came out, but they were really pushing it when Legendary Tier came out, and then Bonus Potential made me want to rip my hair out. I honestly can't stand Potential in general, but if you really want to keep Potential, keep the fourth tier, bonus lines and billions of cube types out of it. We don't need the gap between the cash users and non-cash users to get any wider. And then there's the dozens of protection scrolls in the Cash Shop, those take away all the effort of making a good weapon, and this, along with the Potential System, turns the game into "How much money can I spend before I can obtain the perfect gear?"
Q5. The story in MapleStory is fun and interesting.
It's not.
Comment: I enjoy some of the storyline; I'm quite a fan of the Resistance storyline in particular, Demon Slayer included. But the more classes there are, the more confusing the story is to follow. In fact, I know nothing of the story beyond Resistance/Aran/Phantom/Mercedes/Luminous, because I'd given up on trying to follow it all.
Q6. The interface in MapleStory is familiar and convenient to use.
Yes it is.
Comment: The interface is easy enough to follow for an experienced user; for this reason, I find all of the "know-how" tutorials in the game to be highly annoying. Why is it necessary to bring those to our attention for -every- character we make? It should be a once-per-account deal, and if it's needed to be brought up again, let there be an option somewhere that isn't in your face to bring up tutorials.
Q7. Please write what your most interesting moment was in MapleStory.
Party quests that made every class feel like they were useful and needed. LPQ with its Dark Sight/Range/Teleport requirement, Crimsonwood Keep with its one (two)-of-each-adventurer requirement... and so on. I miss that.
Q8. Please write what moment in MapleStory left you with dissatisfaction/inconvenience.
Being overshadowed by every other (non-Adventurer) class. Why play an Adventurer class now when you can just play as every other class? They're just so much better in comparison.
Q9. Please write what should be updated in MapleStory?
Content that requires community effort with all classes involved, as well as more solo content. Party play being the best form of training forces people to party with others, and it's brought out the worst in people. Oh, and bring back Guild PQ!
Q10. Please write something about MapleStory.
Nothing feels like an accomplishment anymore, since all you really need to do now is throw money at the game to succeed. I would like that back.
Adventurer, Archer branch.
