MapleStory can and never will go to Pay to Play. The existence of the model is slowly dying as it is. Switching to it would be suicide. To add to it, all the problems the game has with stability and balancing, it's all unbefitting of a Pay to Play game. Combined with the already broken potential system, they would lose money by switching even if every single player they have now stayed.
